Bake-at-home okonomiyaki with furikake

Our traybake version of a savoury Japanese pancake! It’s made with shredded cabbage and a bunch of veg bound together with free-range eggs and flour — a teppanyaki classic for a reason. The decoration is the crowning moment — topped with a crisscross of a sweet-salty sauce and Kewpie mayo, then showered with a sprinkling of furikake (a sesame-seaweed sprinkle). All packed ready for a dinner masterpiece in minutes (you’ll have to BYO the Kewpie though as it’s not freezer-friendly).

To Serve

Complete the pattern with a squiggle of Kewpie mayo and serve with a lush leafy salad. This bake is also brilliant when sliced into 24 squares for a lunchbox snack or a Japanese-inspired canapé
