Pierce the plastic film several times. DEFROSTED: Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and heat for a further 1-2 minutes. FROZEN: Microwave for 5 minutes. Stir and heat for a further 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, defrost and empty into a saucepan and reheat gently, stirring regularly until piping hot. The mash may separate and look lumpy and watery for a time but after heating and stirring it will come together again.

    How do you do it?

    No idea how you can freeze mashed potato and have it heat up as if it's fresh, but there you go. No need to add butter or salt, it's already there. Yum!
