Duck sausage rolls with cherry and plum dipping sauce

Filled with festive flavours and a Chinese twist, our duck and water chestnut sausage rolls make the perfect holiday canape. A mix of free-range duck mince, mushrooms, five spice, ginger, garlic, spring onions, chopped water chestnuts, and a little sesame oil is bundled up in a crisp butter puff package. Roasted until golden and gone in minutes… it’s worth stocking up.

To Serve

Serve with a cold glass of Champagne or an icy Christmas cocktail.

To Cook

Preheat oven (FF) to 200C. Place the sausage rolls on a baking paper-lined tray. DEFROSTED: cook for approximately 20-30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. FROZEN: Place the cherry and plum sauce in a bowl of warm water. Cook rolls for approximately 25-35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Serve with cherry and plum dipping sauce.

    Omg!

    Duck sausage rolls were a huge hit on Boxing Day. A little indulgence of duck after the turkey and ham was just what we needed! Winner winner ducky dinner!
