Should air fryers be given air time?

Should air fryers be given air time?

Let's talk kitchen gadgets. You know, those shiny, new appliances that promise to make life easier but often end up gathering dust. Space in the kitchen is precious real estate, so every new gadget or appliance must earn its spot based on utility, price or the pure joy of its aesthetic appeal. So when the air fryer made its grand entrance, we were more than a bit doubtful. “It’s just a small convection oven!” we scoffed. The fervent fanbase only fueled our skepticism.

But with a constant stream of requests from our loyal customers and a deluge of internet buzz, we finally gave in and brought one into our test kitchen.

And now, dear reader, after months of trials and tinkering, we’re here to confess: we're air fryer converts.

Yes, it is “just a small convection oven,” but the size is a game-changer. Its compact design means it cooks more efficiently than a traditional oven. The result? Browner, crisper food in less time. Chicken schnitzel? Perfection. Duck fat potatoes? Done in a flash. Leftovers? Resurrected.
